At Lathandlinen, we aim to make checkout clear and secure. We accept major credit and debit cards available at checkout, including Visa and Mastercard (additional payment options may appear depending on your device and checkout settings).

1) Secure Checkout

All payments are processed through secure, encrypted checkout technology. For your security, we do not store your full card number on our servers. Payment processing may be handled by a trusted third-party payment provider to complete your transaction safely.

2) Billing Information

Please ensure your billing details match the information on file with your card issuer:

  • Cardholder name

  • Billing address and ZIP code

  • Card number, expiration date, and CVV

A mismatch in billing details may cause the payment to be declined.

3) Authorization & Charges

When you place an order, your bank may place an authorization hold to verify the payment method and available funds. In some cases, the hold may appear as a pending transaction. The timing for holds to clear can vary by bank. If an order is cancelled or cannot be confirmed, any pending authorization may be released according to your bank’s processing timeline.

4) Payment Declined (What to Try)

If your payment is declined, please try the following:

  • Confirm your card details (number, expiry date, CVV) and billing address

  • Check available funds or any bank security restrictions

  • Contact your bank or card issuer to authorize the transaction

  • Try a different card, if available

  • Wait a few minutes and try again if you attempted multiple times

5) Order Confirmation

After a successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation email. If you do not receive it, please check your spam/junk folder and then contact us so we can help confirm your order status.

6) Fraud Prevention

To help protect customers from unauthorized transactions, some orders may be flagged for additional review. If we need more information to verify an order, we will contact you using the email address provided at checkout. If verification cannot be completed, the order may be cancelled for security reasons.
